Song of the Day; May 1 2013
Recently came across Chance The Rapper, never heard of him before but just one listen through his new mix tape Acid Rap, Chance has got me hooked. He brings something new to the table that I cant quite put my finger on, but its something good. Really enjoy his use of soul/RnB through the tape, it adds an early millennium hip hop sound to it. His high pitched scratchy voice is addicting, honestly cannot stop listening to this guy. Enjoy!

Very sorry I havent been on this for about ten days, I have just been super busy with school and work. But im planning on keeping this going, its very important and necessary that I do this on a daily basis. But anyways, so since my last post, I have got my digital hands on Vampire Weekend’s new album Modern Vampires of the City (MVOTC) and I’ve seriously played the shit out of this album, its so good in every way. first off, I want to mention how much I think VW has matured since their self titled album, lyrically and musically. Obvious Bicycle is one of my favorites, and Ezra’s lyrics are nothing less than words of an asshole, I love it. “oh you oughta spare your face the razor/ because no ones gonna spare their time for you.” MVOTC is probably my favorite VW release, and my favorite release of the year thus far.
